The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) had already released the funding required to cover the payment of the Php7,000 portion of the 2019 Service Recognition Incentive (SRI). It is in this connection that you are hereby directed to submit to the Budget Division, Finance Service, DepEd-Central Office on or before 12:00 noon of January 06, 2020, a report on the actual payment of the said portion of the SRI, using the attached format labeled as Annex "A'.
Please make sure that the number of all eligible teaching and non-teaching personnel in your respective Regions, occupying whether regular, contractual or casual positions, has undergone a validation process, and incumbents thereof have already been paid off the Php7,000.00 as of this date. Otherwise, please indicate in the report the number of personnel that are eligible of the Php7,000.00 SRI but have not yet been paid of the incentive.
The same number of positions shall be the basis in computing the funding requirement for the Php3,000.00 portion of the SRI which should be paid to all eligible DepEd personnel at a uniform rate. Hence, you are further instructed to submit to the Budget Division, also on or before 12:00 noon of January 06, 2020, the final unobligated 2019 Personnel Services allotment to be taped as funding sources for the PhP3,000.00 portion of the SRI. Such unobligated 2019 allotment shall be pooled to DepEd Central Office-General Administration and Support Services thru the issuance of APSA as already embodied in the second paragraph of Memorandum No. OUF-2019-0404.
