AN ACT PROVIDING FOR AN ACROSS THE BOARD INCREASE OF FIFTEEN THOUSAND PESOS (P15,000.00) TO THE BASIC SALARY OF ALL ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Section 1. All public elementary and high school teachers shall, regardless of their length of service, be entitled to an across the board increase of Fifteen Thousand Pesos (15,000.00) to their basic monthly salary.
Section 2. The funds for the said increase shall be incorporated by the Department of Education (DepEd) in its budget for each fiscal year.
Section 3. The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) and the Department of Education shall promulgate the implementing rules and regulations for the effective and immediate implementation of this Act.
Section 4. All laws, decrees, executive orders, letters of the instructions, rules, and regulations or parts thereof, which are inconsistent with this Act are hereby repealed, amended or modified.
Section 5. This act shall take effect (15) days following its publication in two(2) newspaper of general circulation.
