AN ACT PROVIDING FOR EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE TO PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREOF
Shortage of trained and qualified teachers is a major concern in our public educational system. One major reason for such is the lack of funds and the absence of opportunities for further studies that public teachers may avail.
Undeniably, public teachers play a significant role in educating the Filipino youth who in turn become the future leaders of this country. They play an extraordinary part in the lives of Filipino children, molding them to become responsible citizens in the future. Thus, major efforts should be undertaken to give our teachers adequate training in order to ensure quality education.
In view of the foregoing, the passage of this bill is earnestly sought.
