House Bill seeks to start classes in school at 8:30 AM

Writer: OneKerisOneKeris

House Bill No. 569 which seeks to start the formal classes in school, under DepEd and CHED, not earlier than 8:30 in the morning was filed this Monday by Bacolod Representative Greg Gasataya.

According to the congressman, this can change a lot of things in a better way. Parents will no longer need to wake up too early to prepare for their children's stuff and foods. Students will have extra time to travel and avoid being late for school.

This will compensate for the well-being of all people concerned, including the teachers. They will have ample time to prepare for their class and produce quality materials and develop high-level teaching strategies or techniques.

Rep. Gasataya also reiterated that other countries have been implementing this type of policy which proved to have better results.
