EXPLANATORY NOTE
It can be said that part of what and who we are today can be attributed to our teachers in our youth. Teaching is indeed a noble profession that not everyone has the mettle to be a teacher. The low salaries, the long working hours and unfavorable working conditions are just some factors that render teaching unenviable to many. Teaching can really be very tiring and stressful. But to some people who are truly dedicated and passionate in imparting knowledge and experience to the next generation, teaching can be a very fulfilling job.
In most schools, administrators and officers often get a separate room or office for themselves while class advisers usually stay in their designated classrooms. But how about the ordinary subject teacher who holds no position or advisory class? The simple act of providing our teacher with clean and decent faculty rooms should not be an issue at all.
Providing our teachers with a place to stay in between classes, a place where they can relax and de-stress, goes a long way in uplifting their spirits, boosting their morale and rejuvenating their mood to teach. It can also be a place for interaction with colleagues or a place to respite from a hard day's lecture. All in all, it provides for the improvement of a teacher's over-all-well-being.
With the above-mentioned premises, immediate approval of this bill is earnestly sought.
