Subject: Increasing the Income of our School Canteen

Our school canteens (both elementary and high school) are primary sources of fund for our school. Almost all local needs of the school are sustained by the funds generated from our canteens.
However, its present income is not enough to fully fund all school’s needs. We need to increase its income. The Principal’s Office received information that there are both teachers and non-teaching personnel who sell goods to our pupils and students and compete with the products sold by our school canteen. Your school head is lenient enough to allow the personal business endeavor and entrepreneurship done by some of our teachers but these teachers should make sure that the canteen products must be prioritized first. No more return of trays please. Our teachers must ensure that all canteen products in the tray must be sold out. However, if you have complaints, just ventilate or air your complaints to our office and we will make actions on your complaints.
The Office of the Principal is very compassionate in regards to the personal, secretly done entrepreneurship done by some of our teachers. I know all of these transactions in our school. Nothing hides me. But because of compassion and love to our teachers, I perfunctorily allow them to continue their business endeavor as I think it will help augment their income for their families. I am pro-teacher and I know the feelings of teachers who have low take-home salary due to numerous loans incurred. I have experienced it until present. However, please be reminded that you should also patronize school canteen so that we can have more income to sustain all needs of our school. In all public schools in SDO TAPAT, I am the only one school head who does not prohibit teachers to sell products to their pupils/students as I believe that it will help them a lot economically.
